 Bank of America spearheaded the biggest one-day SLANT 45 project yet, cleaning up West Dallas Community Center

SLANT 45 is a free, service-learning opportunity developed for children grades 3-5 who live in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant Counties. Designed and managed by Big Thought in partnership with North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee, SLANT 45 aims to become one of the biggest SLANT 45 communitywide service-learning projects for children in America! The goal of SLANT 45 is to recruit 20,000 kids from 100 North Texas cities to generate 45,000 hours of community service. For more information, go to www.slant45.org

Others partnering with Bank of America were the Volunteer Center of North Texas, Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, Moore Disposal, ; the North Texas Food Bank, City of Plano Environmental Services, the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas,; the City of Dallas’ City Attorney’s Office, Sanitation Department, Dallas Fire and Rescue and Dallas Police Department, BECK, Voice of Hope, West Dallas Weed and Seed, Trinity River Mission Community Center, and Wesley Rankin Community Center.
